Foxglove Care and Foxglove Supported Living
Empowering individuals with a learning disability and autism to live a life they choose.
Foxglove Care has been providing high quality individual care and support since 2003. We pride ourselves on providing person centred support for adults with a learning disability. We specialise in supporting adults with autism and individuals that can display behaviours of concern. The ethos of our homes is to provide individual support in ordinary houses, within ordinary streets, in an environment that can adapt to peoples changing needs. All our homes have no more than 3 people living together and we are registered by CQC.
Foxglove Supported Living has been up and running since 2016 and it provides care and support to individuals in their own home. We believe it is important that people with a learning disability have the same range of choices as any citizen. We believe that working together with the individual, friends, family, and the wider community, alongside local housing providers and social care commissioners is the way to truly ensure the person is living a life they want.
We are here to support people who have vulnerability, and to empower these individuals to optimise their lives and create, dignity, independence, social inclusion and choice within their own environment that is specific to their needs.
Since moving over to Foxglove care 8 years ago C has only blossomed. I love that she is involved in lots of activities and that we have been able to see regular updates on the family Facebook group of the fun she’s having. The care provided is second to non, and very much centered around each clients needs. They have done an amazing job keeping her safe during the pandemic and celebrating a big birthday when we was unable to do so. We really appreciate everything Foxglove does!!
Our daughter has been a client of Foxgloves Care for approximately 8 years she is happy and settled. When problems have arisen we have been listened to as a family and issues dealt with in a kind and caring manner.
Foxgloves always puts the needs of the client first which as a parent is surely what we all want.
I like my staff as they treat me with kindness and respect. Chartwell has suited my needs to live independantly but with staff support and encouragement to do things for myself.
Chartwell feels like a proper home. Sometimes me and my peer fall out but mostly we get on fine.
I like going but because of lockdown, we can’t go far.
